After 4 years in business, director of IOS Care Recruitment, Chris James, started to look for an overdraft from his bank to help finance growth in his business. He was mainly looking to invest in additional staff and marketing for IOS.

Around this time, our sales director, Joe Patrick, met Chris through a recommendation from another client at his BNI networking group. Chris discussed his thoughts and plans for his business with Joe which started off a great working relationship between the pair.

Joe put together a proposal for Chris and introduced him to invoice financing for the first time. Straight away, Chris saw and understood the benefits of working in partnership with a dedicated independent broker. In April 2016, Chris got back in contact with Joe for another funding review. Over the months that followed, Chris and Joe formulated a plan and put together a rock solid 2 year financial plan for the business.

Together, they have renegotiated another invoice finance package and a flexible commercial loan for IOS. These two products combined give Chris the financial security to move the business onto the next level in a safe and secure position.

Due to the high level of service Joe offers to all his clients, he keeps in contact with Chris very regularly. They have a weekly chat covering all financial matters and check in on the financial health of IOS so any new problems that may occur can be tackled quickly.

Joe is very passionate that to be a good broker, you should fully understand your client’s business, their goals and their concerns. He also feels that it is important to support your clients when they need it most, listening and talking through their concerns with them.
